What is Flotation Therapy?
Flotation Therapy is done through the use of a float tank. Our service will be provided in an Oasis Model tank.
The tank has approximately 10 inches of water with 800-1000 lbs of Epsom salt dissolved in it. The air and water within the tank are held between 93-95 Degrees F, skin temperature, and when you shut the door you have the option of being in near absolute darkness, or you can have the light provided on. With the air and water sitting at skin temperature, as you relax back into the water and allow the water to support your body (with all that salt you will naturally float and be supported with no effort needed), you will be able to fully experience a break from the sensation of touch. You can unplug from all of the stimulation in the world and just BE.
